To the east of the property, again within a twenty-minute drive, is Exmoor National Park, providing miles of scenic walks and cycle ways which stretch right up to the coast on the Devon/Somerset border. For those who like to explore local towns whilst on holiday, the county town of Barnstaple is just three miles away, offering a range of shops and restaurants, a cinema, theatre, and a leisure centre.

This bungalow, which stands within the grounds of an old manor house, provides attractive accommodation which has been lovingly styled by the owners. At the heart of the property, is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a lovely light-filled space, thanks to the patio doors which lead out to the garden, with comfortable sofa seating, a dining area, a Smart TV, with Nexflix, Amazon Alexa and DVD player The kitchen area is equipped with everything guests will need, including an oven, hob, fridge with ice compartment, and dishwasher, whilst the washing machine and tumble dryer are kept in an exterior outhouse. There are two bedrooms in the property, the first of which is a pretty double room, the second being an attractive bunk bedroom (not suitable for adults over the age of 16). The property’s bathroom offers a shower over bath and WC.

Outside, the property enjoys a delightful garden which is mainly set to lawn, with an additional patio area where guests will find garden furniture and a gas BBQ. There is even a charming arbour in the garden for guests to retreat to, perhaps with a book and a glass of wine.
