«Lovely home, that’s very comfortable. The bed was exceptional. Close to town so easy to get to shops and for us the morning ANZAC service. Backyard is fully enclosed and safe, so it’s also very dog friendly. Bit noisy with the traffic but it wasn’t too bad.»

«The property itself was beautifully appointed. The booking process was dreadful. On booking I was sent a link to add in details which gave an error message. I wrote to them three times to advise and got no response. Details about the address and how to get into the property are only sent 2 hours beforehand. Even then I had to ring them to say I hadn't received the code. When I finally got through to them I was advised that my deposit hadn't worked. (This could have been fixed days ...

«Fantastic venue for our 11 person reunion. Only negative is the 2 toilets at one end of the house, however, realise that can't be helped. Everything necessary in bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms. Even the squeeky floorboards made the old home authentic. All in all we had a wonderful catch up.»

«Great location and walking distance to all attractions in Bendigo. We enjoyed our stay at CBD. The house is a charming heritage home with lovely features of yesteryear. Rooms are spacious and adequate. On the down side, the home could do with a thorough dust, cushion covers need a wash and couches need new inserts, as there is no support at all. The laundry could do with a spruce up and a few laundry essentials added. Extra clothes pegs wouldn’t go astray. The garden needs pruning and tidying ...

Our hosts made sure we could get across the paddock to the tiny house when it was looking too damp for our car to make the journey in the wet. At night the stars were clearly visible from our own private river valley, complete with our own outside fire place beside the river. We took advantage of a tasty breakfast from the main house ...
