    The two first-floor bedrooms have direct access to furnished decks. The living, dining, and kitchen area on the second level gives this cottage an open and spacious feel. Comfortably decorated with room to spread out, the home also offers a TV and high-speed WiFi for your devices.

    The biggest attraction, however, is outside, where you'll enjoy outstanding ocean views from the furnished upper deck.

Property was perfect for our family. Everything was clean and well maintained and the check in was amazingly simple. The host communication was exceptional and I would definatley reccomend this host.

Family OBX Vacation

Great Place To Stay

We've stayed at Far Horizons twice this year and both experiences were positive. The house was clean upon our arrival and the beach front views and location were perfect. The house had everything we needed during our week long stay. We will most definitely be back.

Love It!

This is a cozy beach crowded and what I envision when I think of a beach cottage! It is right on the beach and is stocked with everything you would need. The furniture and decor is a little dated, but that didn’t bother us at all! We will definitely be booking this adorable home again.

A great house in a great location!

Far Horizons is a comfortable home located in a quiet neighborhood that's just a few short steps away from the beach. You can't beat the sunrise/moonrise views from the deck, the kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment needed to cook big family meals, and groceries/shopping are only a minute or two away. Best of all, the family dog is a welcomed guest!

October fishing trip

House was great! Water - pressure and water heater were both good! Appliances worked well in the kitchen. Wi-Fi was sufficient. Newly redone upper porch was wonderful. Would rent this unit again! Fishing- Would suggest driving on the beach.. directly out from house is a huge sand bar.

Nice reno

Property had recently been partially renovated.Nicely done! Dated kitchen and bathrooms. Entrance to side porches (which is the easiest and safest way to get upstairs) is a series of stepping over septic pipe and/or stepping through support beams.Location was awesome! Beach access is awful! You have to climb 30 steps up, 15 steps down and then a long walk through the second dune to the beach.

Sunrise

The location is amazing - the sunrise from the deck is beautiful. The beach located just over the dunes made for lots of walks on the beach. The bed was comfortable. There was no hairdryer to be found. Bring your own beach towels and chairs . There are no beach towels provided and beach chairs are not stored well making them appear damaged and unusable. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
