«Everything was good, except the driveway was uneven and we had to be careful getting in and out of the car and walking on it. The shower was opening on the right side and we had to get to the side of the toilet to get into it, because the left side was a permanent fix. The host Liz was very nice! The internet was slow when I tried to get onto it in the living room. It worked well when I was in the exercise room where the router was. Otherwise this was a very nice place!»

«My family enjoyed our time at this property. I received a friendly email prior to arrival with clear directions and local recommendations. It is a beautiful house, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture - perfect for relaxing and visiting. We loved the location, it is in a quiet neighborhood with multiple shopping and dining options nearby. It took us about 35 minutes to drive to the Bar Harbor area.»

Check in was easy, the house had plenty of space, it came stocked with everything we needed and we had wonderful communication with the owners. «The house is decent and located in a good neighborhood and about 30-35 mins away from the Boothbay harbor. The instructions from the host were pretty clear. The house had ample towels and toiletries. The one thing I would like to mention is the host should think about providing fans in all the rooms, since there is no ventilation and they have only one spilt air conditioning unit in the passage upstairs which does not give air to the 3 individual rooms. It got really hot in the rooms. »

«The overall space is definitely rustic. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast we had was tasty. Lots of parking for the most part, except at dinner time when the restaurant is open. The one issue we had was we stayed in the carriage house. Which you cannot lock the main door too which is fine if the front desk tells you that. Unfortunately they didn’t tell us and we were locked out for about 30m till we figured out a way into the space. There is no night staff at all so you are on your own if ...
