«Not very hacienda style design. Poor food, nothing to do beside being at the pool or in the standard pool. Beach ok to look at, but can't really use it or swim in the sea. Could be anywhere, far from anything resembling the real Costa Rica. Offering extremely expensive transportation to airport, added another 165 usd to the bill for a 45 min drive in the early morning in a worn out Toyota Lancruiser. But beautiful view to the Pacific. «The room was very nice and clean; staff were helpful as well. The owner actually helped troubleshoot my electric stove from Prague over video chat, that was cool of him to do that. This was a great stay. However, it felt like a couple's retreat and as a solo traveler it was A. Tad discouraging at times as I was there for 8 days; though perhaps a lack of research on my part.
