«I was very pleased with our stay would recommend it and would stay again»

«This property is a gem. Located in the town of Rumford, the home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The request to avoid wearing shoes on the hardwood floors is completely understandable, as the floors are beautiful and clearly well cared for.We were especially grateful to arrive and find the air conditioning already keeping the home cool, since we experienced several days with temperatures near 100 degrees. The kitchen was convenient, the property was pet-friendly, and ...

«The place was great and very clean! Perfect place to stay after going to Sunday River. »

«What a relaxing space! Just what we were looking for. Plenty of space to spread out in and enjoy. I was shocked at how close to Sunday River it is and an easy drive. Quiet dead end road, large yard to play in, great fire pit area and there was a grill!!My favorite space was the enclosed porch, a great place to escape for some quiet time and coffee!Beautiful house, great host, and we definitely will put it on our return again list!»

«We had an excellent stay at The Castle! Beautiful and cozy accommodations. Fully equipped with everything we needed and more. We didn't use the sauna, but the spa was decadent! It was very close to the mountain for skiing. (And parking at the Jordan lift made it almost as easy as ski-in/ski-out access). We also spent lots of time just enjoying the house, sitting by the fire, playing cribbage and just relaxing (especially nice after a day on the slopes). Our dog (a Corgi) also loved the house ...

«When we arrived there was underwear on a chair in the kitchen. The host was "cleaning" but the entire property was overgrown and unkept with trash and yard clutter everywhere. The inside was extremely cramped, cluttered, and generally unclean.»

«We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and exactly as described. Everything was in perfect working order, which made our stay comfortable and stress-free.Peter was an outstanding host—very responsive, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure all of our needs were met. He checked in to ensure we were comfortable and was quick to answer any questions we had.We truly appreciated the hospitality and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a ...

«This house is stunning, all of the natural light was great! And the recommendation for hiking and local restaurants was very helpful.»

«Beautiful cabin with a nice layout for multiple families. Check in and check out were easy. The hot tub was a hit with everyone; there was a slight issue with the sauna but hosts were quick and friendly with troubleshooting. The primary suite with the jetted tub was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Our only "wish" was for a full size coffee pot - there was a French press but with 6 adults drinking coffee every morning we could have used a little more volume. All in all everyone was ...

«Bethel was an unexpected gem! Although there is traffic during the day, it did not impact us at all. Our bedroom in the back was cozy and quiet. It was one of our best VRBO experiences. Shout out to the sweet gal who assisted us in getting the AC going - no issues with the AC; simply our lack of expertise with this device. Thanks Tyler and all for making this a wonderful visit to this part of Maine!»

«Our stay was short because we only needed rest for the night. However, check in process was super simple. This place was perfect for all our needs like shower, rooms/beds, kitchen filled with all necessities, great parking. There was plenty of space for everyone and kids would have a great yard area to play in. »

«Super cute, clean, convenient option for glamping near Sunday River! We were there for our anniversary. We only got to stay for one night, but we plan to return for a longer stay. Everything is as mentioned in the posting and in the yurt guide shared with us. The outhouse was clean, the bathhouses were super clean, and all the provided amenities were great. We didn't get to have an outdoor fire because Maine is in a drought and everything is extremely dry, which is a wildfire hazard, but we ...
