«I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means.»

«We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. Our king room on the first floor was very comfortable, spotless, had a large bathroom, and even a little back deck. The historic property was beautifully restored and clearly very well cared for by innkeeper Veronica and her team. Veronica's gourmet breakfasts were a huge treat, different every morning, and served with attention to every detail in the elegant dining room. Veronica was happy to share suggestions on activities and restaurants in the area. ...
