«I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means.»

«Overpriced, once wonderful place has gone downhill. Y th things are beaten up, and for 590 night would expect bar and some food every eve. Location still wobderful»

«Amenities were good BUT there was no maid service unless you asked for it- which they did not tell us until it was no longer available during our stay. So we had unmade beds, no towels and you can’t open the windows so the room smelled without fresh air. Management was somewhat apologetic and even though we are Marriott Elite members the only accommodation we got was a $25 bar credit. Oh and the door lock didn’t work right and we almost got locked in our room!»

Within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants and shops and within a short driving distance to many others.»

«Cute decor, comfortable bed. We had to request extra pillows and received one. Had to ask again, received more, but housekeeping removed them the next day for some reason. Details we felt would have made our stay more comfortable: more than two hangers, a dresser or place to hold 2nd suitcase items. More than just 2 bath, 2 wash cloths, and 2 hand towels in the room. «We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. Our king room on the first floor was very comfortable, spotless, had a large bathroom, and even a little back deck. The historic property was beautifully restored and clearly very well cared for by innkeeper Veronica and her team. Veronica's gourmet breakfasts were a huge treat, different every morning, and served with attention to every detail in the elegant dining room. Veronica was happy to share suggestions on activities and restaurants in the area. ...

«Property is amazing and home renovation and condition was outstanding, unfortunately we went on a cold weekend and the room was freezing (60°F) with no way to adjust temperature. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. These conditions resulting in almost no sleep.»
