«Had a lovely stay. Views were stunning. Cottage is pretty basic but clean and has everything you need. The walk into Ambleside is only a few minutes which is perfect for grabbing groceries or going out for a meal. The host, Linda was great and answered any questions quickly. We would return.»

«We have raved about this house to so many people. It was beautiful and spacious and right near some amazing hikes. This area is breathtaking. Working with the host was very easy and they were very responsive. We highly recommend this home. If you don't have a rental car, make sure you come prepared with some food (as there is only 1 pub nearby, and it has unpredictable hours). We hope to return one day!»

The property was lovely, clean, spacious, comfortable, had mod cons, very well stocked, and best of all a fire you could snuggle up to. «Lovely cottage, compact but enough space for two of us and our furry friend. The outside space was perfect for Sasha. There is some road noise but it didn't stop us sleeping well. A little further from Ambleside than we thought though it is walkable. We would stay here again.»

«The house was excellent. The skies holiday host left a lot to be desired ! There were things broken in the property. He didn’t fix them and wanted to charge 20 pounds for an hour later check out - ! Which quite frankly when you are paying a lot for a holiday home is outrageous - especially as we knew there was no one else booked into the house. Such a shame because the house was amazing and we had a lovely time but that customer service would have made all the difference if it had been good.»

«This cottage is lovely and cosy, well appointed. V useful to have a washer/drier. Could have done with a bit more crockery, especially bowls and glasses and the wifi was very intermittent. However, a lovely place and very comfortable. Great location and views.»
