«The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The apartment had two rooms and was clean. The water came with a weird smell, but for a day was perfect. The location is great right on the beginning of bayahibe.»

«Recently stayed at the Hilton in La Romana and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite a few minor inconveniences. The hotel has many positive qualities, though there is some room for improvement.»

«Playa Catalina Hotel really surprised me in the best way. It gives you that Punta Cana vibe but in a more local, peaceful area. The beach is just a 5‑minute walk, and having a pool available 24/7 was perfect. The rooms look like little villas — super cute and cozy. What made the stay unforgettable was the staff. I traveled with my elderly dad, and they treated him with so much care. They helped him with his bags, supported him on the stairs, and always checked in on us. Even the security team ...

«Had an excellent one night stay. Nice view of ocean and Catalina Island. Frank is a very good host and always attentive. Nice clean room with everything you need for your comfort. «The area looked beautiful in photos but it really was not feeling safe. We had an overnight before cruise and mainly just stayed in the room. The beach was lovely but we didn’t feel comfortable eating anywhere near this small hotel no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs to higher floors. No where close to get a coffee in the morning.»

«I've traveled to a few places in the world, I come to Dominican Republic every month I stay in a lot of hotels or motels this is the worst of all of them... The check in process is horrible. No reception to check in, if you don't get there before 10pm you loose your reservation which is what happened to me. They have no parking just one electric door in a dark scary alley. I had to get a different hotel for the night. You'll lose the money if you come here.»

Check in process was easy. 24 hours before my expected arrival I sent the host a message through the expedia app and she responded with my room number and lock code to enter the room. «Overall the hotel exceeded our expectations! We went here for our honeymoon, and I saw mixed reviews. The all inclusiveness is fantastic- the food, staff, and bar were absolutely incredible and exceeded our expectations! The only issues we had were that the beds were super uncomfortable, the staff doesnt actually clean the sheets or room they just tidy it, and it was hard to talk to almost anyone (I reccomend brushing up on your spanish a bit before arriving!).
