This property did not meet expectations.
The photos on the website do not reflect the current condition of the resort. Although my room had the partial sea view as booked and was clean, it was outdated and in need of renovation. The bed was uncomfortable, and basic amenities such as a hair dryer, lotion, shampoo, and shower cap were not provided. The satellite TV was almost entirely in Spanish, with very limited English channels. Privacy was also an issue, as guests from a nearby building could see directly into the bathroom.
The food at the buffet was repetitive, bland, and generally unappealing, with the exception of the salad bar and fresh juices. We frequently chose to eat off-property, including in La Romana, where the local seafood was excellent.
Staff were friendly and helpful, though most spoke little to no English. Entertainment and activities were minimal, and seating around the pools and beach was insufficient for the number of guests.
Overall, the resort has potential but requires significant upgrades. Based on my experience, I would not choose to stay here again.
