We had a great stay for three nights at this apartment. The view from the top is stunning and there were a lot of amenities. We made it to the Tuesday market and there was a wagon to take. Stupidly, we didn't take it, but wish we had--the market was fun. The place has two twin beds downstairs, with no A/C there, but there is a fan. There is also a cool bathroom down there. On the second floor is the kitchen, which was very nice, with a washing machine that we used. Then there is a bedroom with one, maybe queen-sized bed upstairs, with an A/C unit and a second bathroom there. Go up one more flight for the stunning views and balcony.
Our host, (host's son, actually), Guido, was a huge help and very accommodating. I do have to say that we had a lot of trouble finding the place the first evening. We needed to ask for help. Even a taxi driver that drove us back from a nearby town could not find it. We drove a rental car from Barcelona, but I would recommend you do NOT drive to Altea, if you can help it. Altea is a very hilly town! Lots of walking up many, many steps! And it was very crowded this time of year, especially in the evenings.
