Hoteller nær Alderford Lake

«Aside from a member of staff called Kane who was exceptionally helpful, our experience for a birthday break was beyond disappointing. We initially stayed at the sister property The Swan in Tarporley where staff were outstanding but at The Lion we were greeted in what can only be described as very patronising, unwelcoming and brusque, by who we understand to be Beth. We were shown to a room that was classed as executive but had clearly had a major leak in the bathroom as paint was peeling away ...

«Loved our stay here. Very quiet room, clean and cosy. Fabulous staff, especially Shannon. Good food too. Highly recommend.»

«Beautiful room the brilliant evening meal and breakfast»

«Would have been a 5 star review but I asked the first night if staff could kindly remind other residents to move away from the front steps of the building whilst smoking kate at night as it comes into the bedroom window. Second night I had to ask 3 different gentlemen to please move away as their smoke was keeping me awake and affecting my asthma. Two were very apologetic and moved but the 3rd I got abuse from and it was not nice😞.»

«Nydelig hotell i ekte engelsk stil. Topp service. Gode senger, . Nydelig frokost »

«Was a pleasure staying at Hawkstone Park Hotel. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming, only thing was the parking. Seemed like the people coming to play golf were parking in the hotel car park. But other than that it was a nice place to stay»

«A lovely place with all the amenities»

«We had the best stay! Our room was lovely and cosy and the property itself has been beautifully renovated. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and we very much look forward to staying here again.»

«Fantastisk stort og vakkert slott. Servicen var ikke så god. Staben var for få mennesker og mange var unge og uerfarne. »

«Place excellent great staff nice food only problem was there was no chair in my room if you lay on the bed you fall asleep but great place»

«They should air out the rooms, it was extremely stuffy when we entered the room. Had to ask for an iron and it was old and rusty and wasn't working properly. We were afriad to use it. The rooms had no air condition and was very warm. Overall it wasn't managed properly. Sorry to say none of us were too happy.»

«What a lovely little place the owners were very welcoming the place was absolutely spotless and well looked after and well deffo be back 😁»

«Fabulous property in country location, we will definitely be returning so that should be the best review »
