Domus 21 Near Alassio Beach, Alassio, Italy

The resort town of Alassio is known for its mild climate all year round and has been a holiday favourite for over a century. Domus 21 makes the ideal holiday home-from-home for 4. Just a 3-minute walk from the beach and close to the centre of town, it is perfect for all ages.

The second-floor (with lift) apartment has an open-plan living/dining room, with French windows that open onto a private balcony. The sitting area has a sofa, a flat-screen TV and an attractive dresser. Next to this is a dining table for 4 people. The modern kitchen is at the back of the room and is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and coffee machine.

Bedroom: The spacious master bedroom has a double bed, extensive cupboards and French windows leading out to a small balcony.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed. There is also a wardrobe for storage.

Bathroom
The modern bathroom has a glass shower, basin, washing machine and WC.

Location
If you can tear yourself away from Alassio’s beautiful beaches, the town has a lot to offer. The Budello (10-minute walk) is a charming pedestrian street, full of interesting shops and cafés for you to explore. The town is known for its Art Nouveau architecture and villas. The gardens of the Villa della Pergola are worth a visit, as is the Muretto di Alassio which is tiled with the signatures of many famous visitors, including Ernest Hemingway and Jean Cocteau.

For self-catering the weekly market (Saturday) is a treasure trove of local produce, which you can then enjoy back home. Otherwise, there are many smaller shops and supermarkets within easy reach.

The closest airport is Genoa airport, a 1 hour and 15-minute drive from the apartment. Alassio railway station is just a 15 minute walk.
