Staff nice , hotel showing its age but I think that’s everywhere in Japan . Boot room was in the basement which was a bit of a pain . The room we had do have a nice view to the mountains . The restaurant was actually nice even if it looked like a brightly lit sports bar

The Address Akakura
The room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Helen the manager often went above and beyond to meet the needs of guests. The environment was relaxed. The location was close to ski slopes and they also provided a free shuttle which was a plus.

Hotel New Nagano NeXT
Amenity choices are wide. The frontdesk staff is super polite and efficient. The location and parking area is closed to main train station which is very convenient. The parking fee is ¥800 which is even lower than some smaller city. Good deal!

Myoko Onsen cottage Ajisai
The cottage has everything a family needs but the communications around check-in was very poor and hotels.com's customer service was unwilling to provide any assistance. I would have thought some level of quality control helped justify hotels.com's commission. Either way, the cottage is managed by ...
