«A stunning property. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. Phenomenal. Unfortunately however the same cannot be said for the dinner and some of the staff. Dinner over priced and poor, when my wife asked for something extra at breakfast the manager laughed in her face. I was also bashed out of the way by a staff member clearly walking around with the hump. A shame as this hotel can be extraordinary. «We were on a cycle trip Lands End to John O'Groats, and the hotel was fairly close to the route. We were able to get a meal at night and the breakfast was fine too. Hotel were able to offer safe and secure storage for the bike. The hotel is quite a historic building and could perhaps do with some refurbishment, but it had a nice touch of charm about it and the staff were very friendly. »

«We were on an ebike trip from Lands End to John O'Groats and this was a very good hotel. We arrived absolutely soaked and no problem taking wet bikes and gear into hotel and they provided safe and secure (and dry) storage.The room had good heating and we got all clothes dry over night. Really enjoyed our evening meal and a fine breakfast next day. Staff could not have been more helpful. Very close to the National Cycle route too!»

«The staff made this stay. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the choice. Food was lovely. Room was spacious, bathroom was spacious. An old hotel but it had character. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The downer was not being able to initially park as the car park was full of other dining only guests, which made lugging the bags from the car park in Boscastle in pouring rain not much fun.»

«Rommet vår var romslig og hadde fantastisk utsikt mot sjøen. Stor hage med bord og lekeplass. Gå-avstand til stranden. God mat i restauranten. Hotellet arrangerer aktiviteter for lokalområdet, f.eks quiskveld, som er positivt . Det som trekker litt ned for oss, er at det er en del rot rundt omkring, får litt følelse av å være hjemme hos noen. Men hotellet har stort potensiale for å bli virkelig flott.»

«We had a great 3 day stay at the Farmers Arms. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a fantastic breakfast everyday. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, there were tea and coffee making facilities which were replenished every day. St Merryn is a beautiful village with Harlyn and Constantine being some of the best beaches in the country in my opinion. We will definitely be heading back soon.»

«The couple who run the hotel are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is nicely decorated. My room was very clean and the bed was super comfy.
