I also appreciated the flyers of local activities. Communication was excellent and very prompt…an added touch of hospitality. Neighbors were friendly and well accommodating while we were unloading. And York is a lovely city.»

«This is a beautiful cottage, clearly an older building but nicely renovated and in great condition. Hot tub and jacuzzi bath are both very good, and the champagne on arrival was very welcome! The location is at the end of a long track, so the cottage is secluded and quiet making for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. «My elderly father and I had a wonderful few days here. Everything was so easy being in the village, we never cooked as there are lots of options for eating out or takeaway. Local dog walks were super and the enclosed courtyard meant we were never worried about the dog. Hosts were easy to contact and replied quickly to questions. Would happily recommend this lovely cottage and delightful village.»

«Holly Cottage is a well equipped cottage, with everything you could need, in a very typical pretty Yorkshire village. Very comfortable, and a good wood burner in the sitting room, making it cosy, although the kitchen area was also so nice we spent a lot of time in there too. Very comfortable beds in good sized bedrooms too. Hutton Le Hole is a pretty village, with easy access to good roads for travel to the coast and York, but with plenty to do in the immediate area too, including Castle ...

«The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.»
