«The Royal presents itself impeccably. It has quality everywhere you look. Our room was immaculate and food quality didn’t let us down. However, our experience at breakfast was a little disappointing as everything was being cleared away before we had finished eating!! And our charges to the room were taken from my credit card without any prior consultation. Still waiting for an email of my bill which was promised? All just seemed a bit unprofessional?»

«The room was clean and spacious with lovely views of the lake, the food was delicious especially the buffet breakfasts and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a really enjoyable 4 night break and we will definitely be returning.»

«Denne anmeldelsen gjelder rommet vårt 104, etter at vi hadde byttet fra 211. Veldig variable rom fra ikke så bra til veldig bra nemlig. Viktig også med rom ut mot sjøen. Veldig god service og hyggelig personale. Hvis vi skulle ta fram noe negativt, så var det systemet på frokosten. Bestillingssystemet de hadde tok altfor lang tid, og ikke bra å sitte og vente i 20 min på kaffe f.eks. Det manglet jo ikke på personale i restauranten. Kvaliteten på maten derimot, var fortreffelig på alle måter.»

«Fint hotell. Ligger rett ved siden av Lancaster universitet, noe som er praktisk om man f.eks. skal på møter der. Hotellet har både pub og restaurant, gratis internett og har helt OK rom og senger. Pen natur i omegnen. Helt stille om natten med unntak av at man kan høre et tog av og til. Hotellet har også basseng og sauna om man skulle ønske å bruke det. Om jeg skal til Lancaster universitet igjen ville jeg valgt å bo på Lancaster house hotel nok en gang.»

«Staff couldn’t do enough to help us. The room was impeccable quality. Our bed was comfortable, we loved the huge bath tub in the room and the welcome gifts and coffee machine added a nice touch. The only minor issues we found, was the room was extremely cold on arrival, however the room had its own thermostat which we were able to increase and quickly warm up the room. The automatic lights in the toilet and wash area were inconvenient in the middle of the night but easy to block out by closing ...

«Delightful managers and staff, ready and eager to help. The room (3) itself was beautiful and cosy. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bedsheets smelled lovely. The shower was amazing, the bathroom gorgeous. The general decor of the room and bathroom were lovely. I would definitely stay here again! Unfortunately I didn’t have time (I was working) to sample the food, but I definitely will next time! If you have accessibility needs, let them know way ahead of time as most of the rooms are ...
