«Old hotel with a touch of Class, excellent staff. Free parking for residents. Yarra Station winery next door (they have a fanstastic restaurant as well) Tasting with return of tastings cost if you buy bottles. We ate at the Chateau which was excellent, quality fair. The only drawback was the WiFi in the hotel (hopefully they will address that). »

«Staff member checked me in and welcomed us and showed me to the room upstairs a few freebies in room nice touch Room clean and quiet, bathroom plenty of room shower in bath We had issues with toilet randomly flushing then leaking at the tap so turned it off overnight In morning 730am partner showered said was hard to get temperature right but ok my shower 845am I turned hot water tap on and then water stopped nothing so aborted and had a bird bath instead! «The location was excellent, close to shops and restaurants. Also, close to the Catholic Church. The room was neat and clean, with the heater excellent during our Winter stay. The bed wasn't as comfortable as expected, with the sheets being a bit hard. The price was phenomenal, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was good. The water was lovely and hot, and the water pressure was great. My four kids and wife were happy with the two rooms.»

"Very helpful and courteous staff. Really excellent breakfast - often busy but well managed. Very comfortable room with good soundproofing, streaming and good climate control. Occasionally minor issues with the cleaning - sink wasn't always cleaned nor toilet paper replenished, and when we arrived the bathroom fan was very dusty. The downstairs bathrooms (by the bar) were also on one occasion a bit dirty. Staff were however super quick to respond and fix any issues we had. Overall a great stay."
