«I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.»

«We had the best time at Chaa Creek. From the time that we were picked up at the airport, the warmth, the attention to detail, and the overall quality of service was amazing. We used their taxi service to take us to various places and the drivers were like tour guides and super helpful. The food at the restaurant was great and the staff were friendly. They even made sure berries were made available for me during breakfast. The grounds were clean and beautiful with tons of hiking options.  ...

«Breakfast was very fresh and well presented and served. Room was clean and well serviced. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming with a very refreshing drink served on arrival. We didn’t use the spa but enjoyed the pool. The shuttle service was also convenient as we didn’t have a car. A great stay - thank you!»

«We enjoyed our time here! Our family of five stayed comfortably in the “one room family suite” which had a mini fridge and a microwave. The grounds have beautiful landscaping and the pool is very nice. This was a great spot for a home base while exploring all the ruins. »

«For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.»

The meals were all as goid as any 5 star restaurant. Their chef could work in the finest restaurants and put everyone to shame. I had 2 massages and again they were amazing. «We spent 5 days at Cohune Palms. The property is natural and had resident agouti. We saw huge iguana, toucan, agouti and were lucky enough to see the kinkajou right from the dining area. We were in The hummingbird cabana. They have added stairs up to the loft with 2 single beds. It made the main room a bit squishy but were able to store luggage upstairs. The bathroom was huge with wonderful shower. Lots of hot water with good pressure. Mike snd the staff were friendly and always available. ...
