«I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.»

«When I made the reservation I thought we were at the main lodge and not at the camp. Of course the property is beautiful Accommodations were nice beds very comfortable , staff and was great but having to get up to walk to the bathroom was not fun for me so in the future when I book I will be making sure I’m at the main lodge. I think the camp is great for backpackers and those on a budget. »

«Our three nights at Crystal Paradise was the perfect way to experience the jungle and the surrounding San Ignacio area. Each morning we had breakfast with over 60 species of birds and every evening we enjoyed wonderful home cooked meals. Our tour guide Romel was a legend as we explored various caves, ruins, and waterfalls. Thank you to the Tut family for hosting us. »

«This place is great. My only negative is we were under the restaurant. So when it opens at 6:30am we hear all foot traffic. Other than that reception and grounds were excellent!»

«Villa Massis is a jungle paradise! It is situated amongst giant trees and large flowering tropical plants, right next to the quiet Mopan River. The pool was beautiful to swim in and lounge around. The staff are incredibly friendly: from the owner Larry to all the support staff, they really want guests to have a good time! They are proud of what this part of Belize has to offer. «I’m glad I chose my stay outside of the center of town. If you have a car and are debating where to stay I would chose this place because it’s so serene. There are 3 small houses on the property and they are all surrounded by trees. The hammocks in the porch were ideal. The breakfast was so good and the eggs I had there were the brightest ( real) eggs I’ve had. You’ll see hummingbirds right outside the restaurant. You can wake up and walk around the garden before you head out to adventures. We ...

«MaxRooms is nicely located, less than 5 minutes walk from the market and an ATM. The staff were really helpful and the food at the restaurant downstairs was really good and budget friendly. The room was dated but it was clean, had hot water, and good internet. All in all, you get great value for what you are paying for. I would stay again at MaxRooms and from San Ignacio, you can visit Cahal Pech, Xunantunich, Baracol, the ATM and Barton creek caves.»
