«Very quiet and peaceful in which the caravan is situated, 20mins drive to the nearest supermarket, well equipped kitchen, caravan was lovely the only downside was the cleaning especially in the shower as it was full of cobwebs, spiders and flies, also came to use the oven and there was a dirty oily tray in there, the main areas were clean like worktops etc, I did have a really pleasant stay I can’t fault that, and I did clean everything I’ve mentioned, I just don’t think enough people stay ...

«After a week camping in awful weather, I wanted to get a place whilst I met up with some old friends, I booked this place on line, and I'm so glad I did! It was very comfortable, clean and very well equipped, the owners are very friendly, and have done a great job in renovating the building into a 5 star accommodation, would highly recommend it»

«The lords seat was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Great location with amazing views. Nice to have the extras like the dvds and games. The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. «Lovely cottage, every thing done very well and to high spec. Comfortable and well thought out. Only quibbles are having to adjust the heating constantly if you're not out all day ( not likely in February) and would have liked instructions on how the locks work! It was a bit hit and miss to get it right, not ideal if there was an emergency.»

«The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again.»

"We were a family of six travelling and we had invited our daughters and their husbands for a long weekend in The Lakes. We made a mistake ordering standard rooms and it was disappointing that we were given a tiny room as the paying part. I guess that’s our fault. Location is perfect with free parking, the staff are amazingly friendly and the breakfast first class. The place needs a good clean and shine up. The garden and exterior looked as though they had been forgotten for the current season. We will revisit but advise all to not book the cheapest room. The next level up were considerably larger and better and we will be booking those next time. "
