From the moment I arrived, my entire experience at this B&B was exceptional. Every interaction with the team felt warm, genuine, and professional — nothing was ever too much trouble, and I truly felt looked after throughout my stay.
My room was spotless, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail was clear from the fresh linens to the thoughtful layout and amenities. It felt like a perfect space to relax and unwind.

«Having been to Glenridding many many times, this is the first I’ve stayed at Fairlight Guesthouse. It won’t be the last! It was a lovely place to stay; great bedroom, comfy bed, powerful shower, onsite parking, lovely staff and good breakfast. »

«We were a family of six travelling and we had invited our daughters and their husbands for a long weekend in The Lakes. We made a mistake ordering standard rooms and it was disappointing that we were given a tiny room as the paying part. I guess that’s our fault. Location is perfect with free parking, the staff are amazingly friendly and the breakfast first class. The place needs a good clean and shine up. The garden and exterior looked as though they had been forgotten for the current season. ...

«This hotel is in a great location, close enough to walk to center of village but still quiet. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the surrounding hills.,( we had the star gazer room ) Breakfast was excellent! Highly recommend! »

«Karen is a brilliant hostess. She welcomes you into her beautiful historic, unbelievably cosy home, some of which dates back to the days of Tudor. The rooms are spotlessly clean and warm. The full English breakfast is substantial and very tasty. It is well posted, being only a 5 minute walk from the lakeside and a two minute walk from the bus stop to Keswick or Workington. I will definitely be going back.»
