Welcome to Ivy Stables, a cosy country retreat where you can relax in peace and quiet.

The converted stables retains the charm it had many years ago. A fully appointed self catering rental, a stone’s throw from Stanbrook Abbey and the Old hills.

From toasting marshmallows around the fire pit, or sipping a glass of wine on the deck in the evening sun, Ivy Stables has everything you need for a lovely getaway where you’d be comfortable for a 1 night stay or an extended break.
The space
Ivy stables is all on one level. It has a comfortable living area with dining room table. The kitchen is well equipped. In the bedroom you will find a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom has a sink, toilet and bath with shower fitted over.

The property has exposed beams and has historical charm.

We supply 1 basket of logs for the fire pit if you wish to use the fire pit more than the one basket allows please provide your own logs.

There is a small BBQ for you to use. Please provide your own coal and remember to clean the grill after.

You have access to all of Ivy Stables and the private garden

There is space to park two cars on the driveway
Other things to note
Ivy Stables has 1 bedroom where you will sleep in a king size bed. Towels are included so no need to bring your own.
Well behaved dogs are allowed however they are not permitted to be on the furniture. Please do not leave your pet in the Stables unattended.
The kitchen has every utensil you will need to cook up a storm and is fully appointed with a kettle, toaster, cooker, oven and washing machine. Also in the kitchen is a full size fridge freezer.
