«Was a bit spooky in house on my own as friends were in barn, breakfast was lovely and hosts friendly, I would stay again»

«We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there»

«New rooms were very nice.»

«The property has real presence and looks stunning. Its decor is in keeping with the property and looks a bit worn but makes it feel loved. Breakfast was good but we had to wait both days for the food to be topped up as there’s only one waiter trying to do everything. The room was large and bed was comfy. The bathroom was not good no water pressure so water came out very slowly and not very hot. Shower unit was very noisy and no heating for such a big bathroom apart from a towel rail so it was ...

«Me and my friends were really looking forward to this weekend away, was very disappointed that first they toke my money from my card when it was pay at property I had to call to find out why? The breakfast food some was finished so we didn’t get some of the things the toaster was broken you had to keep waiting for cups, the surna was broken so was the jacuzzi, the person that makes the room didn’t even bother to re do the room. «I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We ...

«Hyggelig personale og veldig god mat. Rommet, og i særdeleshet badet var lite, til å være et superior room til nesten 2000 for natten. Senga var god, men dyna var klumpete og tung og ga derfor en urolig natt. »

«Our room in the coach house was compact but was very clean, had everything we needed and overall satisfactory. Our room faced the main road so lots of traffic noise. The shower room window had clear glass & faced the car park with only a blind for privacy. Last time we stayed we were in a larger quieter Lapwing room which for us was better. Breakfast was very good food & service. All staff attentive, willing & helpful. Would stay again but aim for Lapwing upgrade.»

«We had cabin 1 and it was great. Hot tub, wood, everything was lovely and well thought out. Everything you need was there»

«ウィンダミアに行くときは必ずここに泊まります。 今回は3泊しましたが、あいにく体調が完全では無く、ホテルでの夕食は1度しか食べられなかったのが残念です。 食事もスタッフの対応も、そして庭園も含めてゆったりと過ごせる隠れ家にしたい場所です。»

«Lovely room. We booked the dog friendly room and we had dog bowls, and a doggy treat pack including toy, treats & poo bags. Nice little touch! Great food as always, lovely full English breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.»

«Exceptional stay! Beautiful breakfast, great location and very clean! Would highly recommend.»
