Wismar’s Old Harbor, one of the most attractive spots in this cosmopolitan Hanseatic city, lies right at your feet. From here, you can easily explore the city and its beautiful surroundings. By the way, the Old Harbor is an extremely popular venue for events and festivals—and it’s also the original filming location for “SOKO Wismar,” the well-known ZDF series!<br>The historic old town is only about a 10-minute walk away. Here you’ll find numerous shopping options, restaurants, and cafés, a vibrant selection of leisure activities and nightlife, as well as sights and day-trip destinations. The city on the Baltic Sea and its events—such as the Swedish Festivals or the Harbor Days—attract over 500.000 visitors annually. The island of Poel is perfect for long walks on the beach. Here, you can stroll along the coast for hours in any weather and let the wind blow through you.<br><br>Amenities <br>The bright apartment features floor-to-ceiling windows, underfloor heating, free Wi-Fi, and a safe that fits a laptop up to approximately 17 inches.<br>On the first floor is the fully equipped open kitchen with a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a stove with 2 glass-ceramic burners and an oven, a coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and hand blender, as well as the combined living-dining area with a flat-screen TV (42 inches), a stereo system, and board games. This level also features a tastefully decorated bathroom with a walk-in rain shower, sink, toilet, towel warmer, and hair dryer. The bedroom on this level features a comfortable double box-spring bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a 42-inch flat-screen TV. You have access to the sunny, west-facing balcony from both the bedroom and the living area. Here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the harbor’s maritime backdrop.<br>On the second living level of the maisonette apartment is the loft bedroom and the west-facing rooftop terrace with an impressive view over the harbor. The sleeping area features a comfortable box-spring double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a 42-inch flat-screen TV. Pets are not allowed in this apartment.
