«We had a good Christmas there, it was very clean and comfortable. The problem we encountered is the bathroom that had a bath tub, the spout in the tub part just didn’t have any water pressure to it and didn’t work at all after a short while. Also the water pressure in the whole house was in poor condition and the hot water didn’t work at all. Other than that all the rest was a comfortable stay.»

«Cabin was as advertised, very homey. Had one very minor problem with a faucet and literally within 5 minutes of notifying owner, someone was there to take care of it. And it took only 5 minutes. Wonderful service. Have recommended to friends.»

«Lovely home with plenty of space and seating. Not the most comfortable of beds but we enjoyed the space. Perfect location and would love to stay again. »

«Nice and cozy but need a place to unpack clothing. We stayed a week and had to live out of the suitcases… We did have a few bug issues but being n the woods some are to be expected. Outside the cottage needed to be hosed down from cobwebs, tree dropping, etc. but again being in the woods some is to be expected. Maybe put chair cushions on two bar chairs for comfort? Needed wash cloths for a week long stay. Overall we would stay again but plan better?»

«Our stay was overwhelmingly good. There is no ac but it was manageable with open windows (first week in August). You can walk to a section of beach easily (along the river just before it meets the ocean). The restaurant next door was yummy but the service was slow only because they were really busy and maybe not enough staff? But food was great. My only two issues were that we were awakened at 6am with beeping from the delivery trucks directly outside our window and that the “common areas” ...

«The cabin overlooked Route 1. The heat pump was noisy. The cabin was smaller than expected. The shower needs to be updated. The bed was very comfortable. »

«Spacious cottage (in a resort full of cottages) nicely located to visit Boothbay Harbor, Wiscasset and a day trip to the Portland coast. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc to make it easy to cook. Large table for family game nights. Great beds! The front porch and lawn were better for hanging outside. The back patio area is small and needs cleanup but we did not need it. »
