The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. «Beautiful grand suite. The staff were top class, always available with a smile. Quiet area, just a short walk away from the city centre and train station. Housekeeping didn’t change used cups and glasses. Bit of a trouble opening the old doors out to the garden. Loved it and would love to stay again!»

«Clean comfortable guest house. Note it has a shared bathroom and toilets . Plenty of facilities kettle and tea in room and kitchen. Shared use of full kitchen. It was the days of the heatwave so uncomfortable only because of that. Bed very comfortable clean linen and towels. All guests were very in tune with quiet period 10 pm to 8 am. I was aid for street parking through guest house arrived early and managed to park directly outside.»
