Traveling Construction Worker - Stayed in a multitude of hotels, but had my girlfriend come up for the weekend. I had to work during the day, so I wanted something a bit nicer for her to spend the days in. I reserved the king suite with a jacuzzi tub in the room. The first issue i had was at check in. I rang the bell, and the woman, who was nowhere to be seen, comes out of the doorway and exclaims "I was coming!"
My girlfriend exited the room and was hit with a rotten egg smell. Front desk stated this happens when they dont have many guests, and the housekeepers are instructed to flush the toilets in the empty rooms...
The TV's are from the early 2000s and dont give the option to stream unless you've got something with an HDMI plug in.
The breakfast is sub par - Jimmy deans microwavable breakfast sandwiches and cereal... no bagged eggs, sausages, bacon, waffles, pancakes, etc.... nothing that requires more than staff placing the items in the refrigerator.
Some of these issues may seem miniscule, but I stayed across the street in the Holiday Inn... the TV immediately asked if I'd like to sign into a streaming service, the breakfast was cooked by an actual person and set out to enjoy.. no smell of rotten eggs.. and 2/3rd the price.
Majority of the time, I stay at americinn and, imagine that, almost exactly similar to Holiday Inn..
Would not stay here again.
