«We only stayed at the property for one night as a stopover between tours. The place is nice and very conveniently located within walkable distance to the few sights there are to see in Windhoek, and some restaurants and coffee shops. I got e-mails with two different unit numbers so there was some confusion at the check-in which one was the correct one. Also, the electric meter was not "filled up" so the security person had to contact the property manager to do that in order for us not to run out ...

Nice hotel but poor service
"Avani is a nice hotel in the city center. We enjoyed the room and facilities, but the service and the staff gave us poor service. At check in we ordered a transfer to the airport for the next day, and confirmed this the day after. The staff told us everything was fine, but seem distressed and unfocused. When we were leaving for the airport there was no transfer arranged for us - and they were blaming us for not booking it in the correct way. We had to book a transfer our self last minute and nearly missed our flight. The staff was unable to help us and just ran around looking confused. "
