However, while the place was basically as shown in the photos, what I was unable to ascertain from pictures prior to booking was how uncomfortable the furniture was or the fact that the bathroom is on a different level than the bedroom. «Very reasonable price for a location near historic Lancaster. The home and furnishings are a little tired and need some attention and updating, but we were OK with things. Parking can be tricky, because it's on the street. There are signs stating that street cleaning is on certain days, so you can't park in that area during those days/times.»

«We rented this and the adjoining property about a year in advance, but the host rented out the other one to someone else without notifying us. We were meeting our daughters and grandchildren for a special weekend, and this really upset our plans. When you drive over 1,000 miles and find the place you reserved and paid for is not available, it's quite a shock. Experiences like this have caused me to lose faith in VRBO.»
