«Fint hotell. Ligger rett ved siden av Lancaster universitet, noe som er praktisk om man f.eks. skal på møter der. Hotellet har både pub og restaurant, gratis internett og har helt OK rom og senger. Pen natur i omegnen. Helt stille om natten med unntak av at man kan høre et tog av og til. Hotellet har også basseng og sauna om man skulle ønske å bruke det. Om jeg skal til Lancaster universitet igjen ville jeg valgt å bo på Lancaster house hotel nok en gang.»

«Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.»

«The Royal presents itself impeccably. It has quality everywhere you look. Our room was immaculate and food quality didn’t let us down. However, our experience at breakfast was a little disappointing as everything was being cleared away before we had finished eating!! And our charges to the room were taken from my credit card without any prior consultation. Still waiting for an email of my bill which was promised? All just seemed a bit unprofessional?»
