The Space:
Opened in July 2023, 3 The Mount offers a flexible living space and has been expertly designed to provide the perfect luxury holiday home in Whitby.

The heart of 3 The Mount is the open-plan living and kitchen area on the ground floor. A wonderfully bright and spacious area, you'll be able to enjoy special moments with your family and friends. Exposed ceiling beams allow for a traditional feel to run throughout this modern property. Whether you are unwinding in front of the flat screen TV or getting lost in a good book, you will enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Whitby’s West Cliff.

The kitchen is fully equipped to make the most of your self-catering stay, including the added bonuses of a dishwasher and washing for that extra convenience. There is also a dining area sharing the space where you can enjoy meals with your loved ones in comfort.

There are three bedrooms in 3 The Mount, all featuring high-end beds and plush bedding for a first-class sleep.

The main king size bedroom is on the ground floor and is a lovely haven for relaxing. The second bedroom is home to twin single beds, making this room particularly suitable for children and teenagers.

Head to the basement and you’ll find the third bedroom which is also a king and even boasts an ensuite shower room.

There is both a family bathroom and a second ensuite shower room at 3 The Mount. With this in mind, there is no need for arguments over who is getting ready first during your seaside getaway.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to 3 The Mount are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to your stay.

Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle. Pay & display parking is available nearby for guests staying with more than one vehicle.

Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome to stay at 3 The Mount per reservation.

The Neighborhood:
3 The Mount is located near the harbour and beach in Whitby, and you’ll find restaurants, shops and pubs less than a 5-minute walk away.

The house is located on the West side of Whitby. You’ll be able to revel in the nostalgic seaside charm - head to the arcades or explore the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts.

Venture over the swing bridge and you’ll reach the East bank. This side of Whitby is full of narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.

Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.

Getting Around:
You’ll find restaurants, pubs and shops just in a short walk from 3 The Mount.

Whitby train station is nearby so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
