«Absolutely lovely stay at this property. We were only there for 1 night but can't reccommend enough. Tea, coffee and biscuits were left in the kitchen for us. TV in the living room was smart TV and there was a TV in both bedrooms. Beds were a tiny bit springy but still comfortable. Shower downstairs is a bit dated but still useable. Incredibly clean though absolutely no complaints on that front. Property manager was in touch and easy to contact. Some might be confused by the parking situation ...

«Lovely quaint walk through several levels of walkways and beautuful traditional cottages. Tucked away surrounded by cottage gardens. Like stepping back in time. Beautiful weather surprisingly. Lovely friendly people. Shops and places to eat and drink , within 5 mins through the street's. Very steep hill and steps add to rhe charm of the winding roads down to the bay front. Photographers heaven. 4th time here over the years with small changes to eateries. »

«The perfect remote get away, situated in a valley with perfect views of farms and hillsides in every direction there is no better place to become removed from the world, the hosts were friendly and the cottage was perfect for a couple or a single stay. there is nothing you can say that goes against this location. the only thing i would take on board is it is the very definition of isolated. there are no local shops, signal or places of urban life. but this is exactly what we needed and enjoyed, ...

«Spent a week here. The cottage was comfy, spotless, high end finnish. Bed was comfy, nice quality towels, powerful shower lots of hot water. Really quiet off the beaten track. About 8 mins walk is a pub called the hare and hounds, really welcoming, does great food and will do you a takeaway. Would go back again»

«Black Bull Cottage was perfect for our trip to Whitby. Only 10 minutes drive out and great value for money. It was very cosy and had everything we could need. The welcome hamper was appreciated with a bottle of wine, breadsticks and cookies. There was parking right outside and next door to a pub that served really nice food. It was a quiet, warm and relaxing place and the bed was very comfortable. I'd recommend for a winter break :-)»
