«This is a little gem in the heart of a village Highly recommend to everybody, restaurants pubs shop and beach all within minutes of the cottage’s property was spotless clean and lovely and warm , met the family over the course of four days all very nice with plenty of smiles every time you see them Very dog friendly with many lovely walks around the area»

«Though bijou, it was well designed and the space was very well used. The outside space was good and lovely to have the hills around, We did have problems using the very modern microwave/grill and cooker - It needed DETAILED WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS! and we would have preferred an ordinary electric kettle. A corkscrew, too would have been useful!But, we enjoyed a wonderful 2 days»

«Cozy, comfy and private pod. Clean, with good facilities for making breakfast toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave. Comfy bed. Walking distance to Keswick about 25 minutes, footpath runs down the side of the site.»

«This was our third visit to Spa Cottages. It is a great base for exploring the Lake District. Parking can be a bit tight, but for the majority of the time we were able to park directly outside the property.»

«Plenty of room for 4 adults & an excited Springer spaniel. Great to have a dog friendly garden - not always the case when advertised as such! Lots of walks from the doorstep. Local shop sells delicious cakes to take on walks!»

«Lovely well equiped bright apartment. Location ideal for everything, very central. Parking very near and a good spot if you reverse in, as driver side cannot be parked against. Comfy bed, large shower with good pressure. A fan would have been nice as the weather was VERY hot. Welcome pack very appreciated, teas, coffee and lovely biscuits also supplied two dish washer tablets, two tea towels and a kithchen roll, however you will need washing machine products and washing up liquid, as only a very ...

«We have stayed at Millside Cottage many times before and it's a favourite of ours. Cottage is very homely and well equipped. It was great to see that the shower has been upgraded. One suggestion is that the new Wood burner is not that practical to use as there is no companion set, or at the very minimum an available poker. Having a fire at home, we know that sometimes you really need a poker to "re-adjust" locations of logs within the fire to ensure that they are sat correctly.»

«We had a wonderful five-day stay at Tawny Cottage in Portinscale in mid-May. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very cosy, and it was such a lovely touch to find the heating already on when we arrived. «The house really makes the most out of its space. Really comfortable and modern yet still cosy. Everything is new, clean and well thought out. Having the downstairs toilet outside is a bonus and also the outhouse with washing machine, drier and freezer - it just frees up so much space.
