Misquamicut Beach House, Just 1 Mile From the Ocean!

Our beach house is just a 15-20 minute walk (2min drive) from Misquamicut Beach in Westerly, RI. You can easily have some peace & quiet away from the beach crowds, but direct access to all of the action. The house is also a 10 minute drive from beautiful Watch Hill & historic Ocean House & just 15 minutes from Mystic, CT!

The house can sleep up to 8 people. On the first floor, you will find a sitting room & a dining room just off the front entrance, family room just off the fully-equipped kitchen, casual eating area, half bath & laundry facilities.

The outdoor area in the back can be accessed by a sliding door off of the casual eating area. There is lounge furniture, an outdoor eating area & above-ground pool. There are pool toys in the garage. The pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day.

The second floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms & a sitting room off of the primary bedroom. The 3 bedrooms each have a king size bed. The sitting room off of the primary bedroom has a trundle bed with 2 twin mattresses & a toddler bed. There is a pack n' play in the primary walk-in closet.

There is a beach cart, beach chairs, umbrella, body board, toys/shovels in the garage. Unfortunately, we do NOT offer a beach parking pass. Passes are tied to vehicles. A day pass is $12-$20, depending on the beach that you visit.

We provide basic amenities such as linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and paper goods. The kitchen is fully equipped with plates, bowls, cups, mugs, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans. There are also cooking items such as spices, salt and pepper, etc. We also provide some cleaning items & laundry detergent.

We are more than happy to accommodate long-term rentals at a discounted rate.

RI week

The house was a perfect size. 4 adults and 2 children. It was nice to have the pool, particularly after going to the beach. Convenient location. Well stocked kitchen. Owner very responsive when had a plumbing problem. Very smooth process. One downside was it’s on a pretty busy street rather than in a neighborhood.

Great beach property

Very clean, well arranged and well stocked house. Great sleeping arrangements with a very convenient ensuite room in the master bedroom for little ones. Do note that there are no baby gates on the stairs for the very little ones. We spent lots of time on the beach during the day and the porch BBQing in the evenings. The beach is a short drive from the house and if you're visiting during the summer and for more than a few days, recommend getting the RI beaches pass, it's cheaper and almost no lines to get into parking. Westerly itself is great with lots of food shopping options. Mystic, CT is 30 mins away with great restaurants and kids activities like Seaport Museum and Aquarium.

Fit our needs perfectly!

The house was as described, super clean upon arrival and very well equipped! Had everything we needed and then some! Never used the beach wagon as there were able bodied teens in our group to help with carrying chairs and beach gear. Had to drive to the beach as the walk is definitely a mile but luckily had the use of a friend’s Misquamicut Fire District beach pass (any way you can include this for future guests?) After Long Beach days, the backyard and pool were nice spots to return to.

Wonderful Stay!

What a great place to stay for vacation! The house was spotless, exactly as described, and we felt like we were home. Michi was a wonderful host and answered questions immediately when asked. She was perfect. The house is a short ride to the beach too. Probably the best rental home we've stayed in! Highly recommend!!

Wonderful location and accommodations!

The house was immaculate and thoughtfully arranged. We were two couples and having king size beds in the master en suite and guest rooms was a plus. The kitchen was well appointed with anything needed for a 2-week stay. The location was convenient to the beach, Westerly shopping and to Watch Hill. Hosts Michi and Brian were immediately available for any questions. We will reserve again if available.

Perfect beach house

My family and I stayed for 4 nights in the off season. The property was great and had everything we needed for our time at the beach. Even though it's close, I wouldn't walk it as the road is fairly busy but it was a 2-3 minute drive. We loved the adjoining room for our kids and they even had a toddler bed which worked great for our family. We would stay again.

Fantastic east coast property

The house was super functional for the four of us, with ample space to hang out and relax both inside and outside. The different living spaces on the first floor are very nice as you don't all have to be in the same area all the time. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The outside space is wonderful with a large deck and a nice yard. The bedrooms are spacious and everyone loved the fact that each room has a king bed. The house was very clean and organized when we arrived. Just remember that the house is on a busy road, and during the day there is quite a bit of traffic. The traffic mostly disappeared at night and it was quiet. You are close enough to the beach that you can walk to it, we made beautiful 7.5 mile roundtrip beach walks all the way down to the watchhill lighthouse. It was super relaxing!

Everything you could ask for

House was clean, organized, everything was labeled. Located just a few mins drive to beaches. Little things we appreciated throughout the house such as extra ziplock bags, sharp cutlery, highlights, 3 king sized beds (in each room), clean pool and many other things. We would book again!

Wonderful stay, beautiful house

We had a wonderful stay. The host responded quickly and was easy to rent from. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The kids loved swimming in the pool. Their were pool and beach toys available to use, which was a nice treat. The beds and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall we had a wonderful stay and vacation!

great family vacation house

We were very impressed and pleased with how clean and beautifully decorated this lovely vacation rental was. The kitchen was fully stocked, and all the linens and towels were very clean. The outdoor pool was also a nice addition that our grandchildren enjoyed. It provided a great family vacation home!
