The provisions provided to get us started were very thoughtful and helpful. The house was roomy, clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked. The directions provided for all the amenities were more than sufficient to make correct use of them. We hope to be able to stay here again some day.»

«What a beautiful property, everything had been thought of. The cottage was super-clean and cosy with lovely views and friendly hosts. If the weather had been cold we would have been very snug with the underfloor heating and wood-burner. «The house is located in a great location, just above the Market Brae steps, making it central to most places in the city center. The house is old, but very well kept. «Lovely apartment and everything there that you would need. Was not in favour of the sloping roof in the upstairs bedroom but could be avoided by relocating the bed so that the headboard faced the window. Only other criticism was lack of sockets in the kitchen. Kettle and toaster had to share the same socket other available sockets were at floor level where there was no counter space. A shelf along the opposite wall would eradicate that issue.»

«We only stayed for 3 nights but enjoyed our time. We easily commuted to Skye each day for wonderful hiking, returning to a cozy home by the water. Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!! ...
