«We expected and loved the heritage building and Rich, at reception, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We were out most of our one full day and our standard room was never cleaned even though we left the cleanup sign on our door at 9:45 am. The bathroom was run down and not spotless! The location is magical. I would suggest an on- the-water room, as a couple we met saw 2 humpback whales swim by. And, the sunset is magnificent.»

«I only stayed here for one night but it was amazing. Enjoyed the dinner in the restaurant, Took a walk around the property and it was beautiful, the room was great and the beds were very comfortable. The front staff were friendly and helpful. I can’t say much about the fitness room or the fishing or the pool as I did not have a chance to use any extra amenities.»

«I booked a couple one night stays before and after an expedition due to flight times. The staff was super friendly and accommodating for my early arrival (remembered my name for both stays). Yes, the place could use some upgrades, visually, however the rooms were clean, complementary soap & shampoo, included a fridge and microwave and the views...amazing waterfront views whether on the ground or upper floors. «A fantastic place to stay! Great views of the harbour and ferry from the big windows, and very convenient. The rooms are modern, well thought out and designed. The whole place was super clean and very helpful, kind staff. The pool is super toasty warm, and able to swim till 9pm in the pretty lights. Great outdoor space for eating outdoors, surrounded by interesting sculptures! The owners are currently upgrading the gardens, but not an issue. In the harbour we could see orcas, otters and seals!»
