«This is a great place for a couple or a small family. We have two boys, ages 8 and 11 and we were comfortable with the amount of place we had. The unit is cute, well equipped and it has nice natural lighting. It is better in person than in the photos, so we were pleasantly surprised. The location is close to shopping and lots of places to eat on Woodstock. It is also a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from Reed College. We would definitely stay here again the future.»

«We love the uniqueness of this property, it was cozy and serene, the locked gate was especially nice as it made us feel extra safe. The Hawthorne area is quaint and loaded with dining and shopping options; while streets are busy it is quite walkable, and not far from gorgeous areas like Mt. Tabor Park. «Our stay was absolutely perfect. The host communicated very quickly (though no issues to report). The unit had everything you could possibly need down to dog bowls and earplugs (though it was not noisy at all). The fenced in area was perfect to enjoy coffee and let our dog off leash. The walkability was fantastic - close to wonderful restaurants and coffee shops (be sure to try Slims and get curry or ahi tuna bowl). We could not use the refrigerator, as it smelled of rotten meat. We asked for a refund and were denied. We were not offered a partial refund. We were offered a complimentary night stay. «It talks about a private entrance but it isn't because there are multiple rooms in the basement of this property that get rented out. I had hoped to have a private getaway and instead i was greated with a shared entrance and steep shared parking on gravel. Also, when you walk into get into the door there isn't an indicator as to which key box your code is for. The "doors" to each room/space is just a sliding glass door. "Unfortunately, a little noisy - you could literally hear other bathroom's water running. Hotel provided ear plugs, which was appreciated but still you could hear doors in the hallway closing. Overall cleanliness, it wasn't cleaned as thoroughly as it should have been - as there was still a plastic straw in the trash can and a strand of hair in the middle of the shower. But overall, conveniently situated in the Pearl District with walking distance to many things."
