«We really enjoyed staying at his property. Communication with the host was excellent. The house is just as pictured in the photos, and I think the surrounding property/grounds is even better within the photos. If you're flying into Knoxville airport, it's in a perfect location, about 23 minutes from the airport, and just a few minutes from the Smokies (maybe 15 mins). The host, Amy, is super friendly and gracious.»

«The Oak is a beautifully restored home that was welcoming and inviting. We had 7 adults on our trip to SXS at Windrock and this place was perfect. The kitchen was stocked for our cooking needs and the living room had plenty of space for our group. We enjoyed the front porch during sunset and coffee time. We would definitely go back. Shawn was always available if needed. Check in and out was a piece of cake! Definitely recommend The Oak!»

«The pictures really don't do this house justice. The master bedroom / bathroom were HUGE! As well as the rest of the house. There was plenty of room for everyone. We loved it. The location was quiet and it was refreshing to see the neighborhood kids outside playing and selling lemonade. You are outside town to have the country feel but close enough for quick travel to the stores. We would definitely stay again.»

So essentially we just needed a place to prepare breakfast and in the evening decompress, cook dinner, and relax until again next day of more volleyball. «We enjoyed our stay but wasn’t 4 beds as advertised. One of us slept on the couch. Lawn was overgrown and difficult to carry up luggage. There were a few hairs on the sheets and toilet upon inspection on arrival. The master suite was very nice!»
