«The hotel is currently being renovated, so the reception is a bit of a make-shift affair in the breakfast room. Toast and hot breakfast the English way cooked at your request, preserves and cereals, milk, yoghurt and apple/orange juice provided on a table. No staff visible apart from the combined breakfast waitress/receptionist who was otherwise pleasant enough, we were provided however with the details of a person who would be on the premises later in the evening/throughout the night in case we ...

«The hotel was exceptional , the rooms were amazing and the food was 5star .
The only issue we have is the manner that the head or I presume the head of service in the breakfast restaurant spoke to her staff . She in our view needs to put on a course for man management. I have to say if we had been spoken too the way she addressed her staff we would have walked out . She was the only let down in the whole of the hotel . »

«The hosts are helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable, with a great view, and a private bathroom close by. There was a kettle in the room, with tea, coffee, fresh milk and drinking water. The dining room is quite grand, with another excellent view. We could help ourselves to fruit, juice and yogurt, the bread had just been made, and the cooked part of the breakfast was also excellent. Parking is next to the house, well away from the road. We will be back if we stay in the area again.»
