Charming 2-bedroom upscale cottage

Located in the charming seaside village of Wells, this delightful cottage offers access to extensive amenities in a safe, well maintained gated community within a mile of the ocean. Beach Dreams cottages and condominiums are on 43 acres set back from coastal route one. The cottage is nestled in a quiet spot within close proximity to all amenities. Our guests have easy access to a large seasonally heated pool, children’s pool, hot tub, Fitness Center, Arcade and Game Room, Bocce Court and Basketball area all within a few hundred yards. It is only a short walk to recently renovated tennis and PickleBall courts.

There are 2 bedrooms - one with a comfy queen bed, dresser, closet, Smart TV, ceiling fan and blackout curtains. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a double mattress on the bottom and twin on top so it is comfortable for three people. Colorful slide out bins in a dresser, a pull out drawer under the bed , and a good sized closet provide plenty of space for storage.

The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and baking. It boasts a Jenn Air range, Bosch dishwasher and granite counters. An assortment of spices are available as well as fresh herbs growing next to the patio. A breakfast bar separates the kitchen from the living area.

The living room provides a cozy place to watch the Smart TV, play games and puzzles provided, or take a nap on the couch. Two large sliders lead to the enclosed porch with a built-in window seat perfect for reading, storage for clean towels and shoes and a dining table that can seat 6. Rattan shades provide shade from the afternoon sun and privacy as needed.

The bathroom comes equipped with a bathtub/shower combination, plenty of Shaker hooks for towels, storage and a hair dryer and magnifying mirror for your convenience.

A welcoming patio surrounded by flowers and herbs provides a bistro table and two chairs perfect for morning coffee or sipping a cool drink while enjoying the sunset. A gas grill and picnic table with umbrella are provided in the backyard. Two beach chairs and sand toys are available in an outdoor storage bin for guests' use. Guests may bring their own bikes or kayaks and park them behind the cottage.

The area has much to offer. Moody Beach is an easy mile walk, Crescent, Wells, Footbridge, Ogunquit, and Drakes Beaches are within a few minutes drive. Excellent restaurants abound along this stretch of Route 1 as well as numerous family fun activities such as mini golf, Wonder Mountain, Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge to name a few. Golf courses, hiking, kayaking, boating, fresh and saltwater fishing are readily available. Boat trips to see whales and seals, gorgeous rocky coastline, deep sea fishing and sunset cruises are available in Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. The Ogunquit Theater has offered renowned summer theater for decades. A half hour drive to the quaint historic cities of Portland or Portsmouth opens extensive possibilities for additional restaurants, The Portland Museum of Art, Children’s Museum, historic house tours, boat tours, lighthouses and hundreds of shopping options are available.
