Set in beautiful Waynesville, North Carolina, Guthrie Ridge is just a short drive to incredible area attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cataloochee Ski Area, Soco Falls, Tube World, Harrah`s Casino in Cherokee, and the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds. Additionally, the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad in Bryson City and the Biltmore Estate in Asheville are about 45 minutes away.

Guests will have access to the entire home and property during their stay with the exception of some locked owner’s closets and outdoor sheds.

Guests are not permitted to access any of the outbuildings on the property.

Guthrie Ridge is a charming older home with some steps and gently sloping original hardwood floors. Guests should be aware that there two are short sets of stairs inside the home to access the kitchen, laundry area and one bathroom from the den.
Additionally, there is a single step in the main living area as well.

The driveway up to the house, while not very steep, is gravel/dirt. 4WD is not necessary in the milder months but will be necessary in the event of snow or ice.

The property cannot accommodate motorcycles, recreational vehicles or trailers.

The cottage has portable air conditioning units in the warmer months. They are located in both living rooms, king bedroom and queen bedroom. Currently the twin bedroom does not have its own air conditioning however the living room until does keep it cool with the door open.
Any pets must be included in the reservation as there is a pet fee.

Please keep pets off the furniture and bedding and clean up after them in the yard.
