«We enjoyed cooking and eating together.The pleasant view of the lake channel through the sliding glass doors of the dining area was especially nice. There were swans ever day that visited!The downstairs entertainment area was really comfortable with its large recliner couches.»

«The house had gorgeous views and plenty of things for the kids to do in the water. The kids especially loved the kayaks and the lily pad! We wished we could have enjoyed the spacious yard with string lights more than we were able, but the weather had other plans. We had plenty of room for our group of 2 families and would definitely come back!»

«Older country home very clean and welcoming. Does have a musty smell which caused two of our group issues who have sinus allergies. The goody basket and coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar was a real nice treat! If you plan to do much cooking, bring your own skillet, pots and pans. Beds comfortable. No electric outlet in either bathroom so for three ladies to do their hair it was not easy because the only outlet is in the BR where the shower, sink and mirror are. Beautiful country setting. «This was a lovely two bedroom home, very clean, and near the shops in Shipsewana. There was a long enough driveway for 2-3 cars. We sat in the chairs in the front of the house in the evening and watched quite a few buggies with Amish families trot by. They would wave to us which was fun. I would recommend this place to stay.»

«Everything was as advertised. My kids and I had a great time. House was clean and inviting. We sat on the patio and caught bluegill, bass, a few bowfin and an unexpected turtle. We thoroughly enjoyed the week we spent there.»
