  • New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

    There's no better place to land your perfect vacation than this elegant cottage! This home is situated near sand dunes that inspired the birthplace of aviation, and is a very short walk from the beach. This home features two wrap-around sundecks, a crow's nest for unparalleled views, and a private pool and hot tub. The back patio with the hot tub includes a new long poly-wood bar table with bar stools. Step into the fun, first floor recreation room with a large TV, reclining movie chairs, a foosball table, a full-size refrigerator, a wet bar with an icemaker, a full bathroom, and an attached open room with two pyramid bunk beds. The second level has three bedrooms all with brand new 2023 king-size mattresses, and TVs. Two of the bedrooms on this level have their own full-size bathroom, and the third shares a hallway full-size bathroom. The top level is home to the fourth bedroom also with a new 2023 king bed, full-size bathroom, and TV. The open-concept living space is also on the top floor. Here, you can enjoy a living area with a large sectional sofa and comfy chairs situated around a TV. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, and all the necessities to cook for your whole group. The breakfast bar and dining room table are perfect for meals and conversation. There is also a collection of games and books to enjoy in the SE study nook. Sliding glass doors provide access to the top-level sundeck and crow's nest, where you can catch magnificent views in all directions, including views of the ocean and the sound. Both deck levels have new 2023 colorful and durable poly-wood deck chairs with a side table.

    The fireplace is not operational.
    The private pool will open seasonally from 04/01/2026 and close 10/10/2026. Dates are subject to change.

Perfect landing was perfect

This house was just what we were looking for. Close walk to the beach. Large pool for all to enjoy. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of room for dinners together. Just absolutely perfect for my family to enjoy a week away.

OBX never disappoints

The location to the beach is great. The dune could be tricky for people as it is steep. The layout of the home is very functional. Having a hot tub and pool made the week vert enjoyable. Kitchen is well stocked. The home could have been cleaner. The outstairs AC struggled with mid 80s temps outside.

Great house, check-in could have been better

Really enjoyed the house and loved the new deck and deck furniture and the 4th floor viewing deck was great. Mattresses appeared to be new and we really liked them. Dressers were old and hard to open. A few things were missed in cleaning. Online we were told check-in was 4:00 then received an email saying it was 5:00, arrived at 3:30 and it was cleaned and empty so I called but they would not let me go in, so I waited for an hour and a half before I could enter an empty house even though I had paid for that full day!

Loved It!

We loved this home! The house is very nice, clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by how incredibly spacious it is. The interior is first class, with hard tile floors and wood trim, and bathrooms for every room including the kitchen lol. Views are phenomenal from the top two floors and crows nest; you can see the Atlantic Ocean to the east and of the Sound to the West!  We also much appreciated the large pool and hot tub. Ideally located, its a very short walk to a beautiful beach with soft white sand.  REAL’s Watermen’s Bar & Grill and Waves Market & Deli (with the best sandwiches around) are also walking distance.   We hope to return for another vacation very soon and invite more family and friends with us.

The house was immaculate. It suited all our needs. The house limit is 8 but the entire house could easily accommodate 10-12. The house did provide complementary samples of dish detergent, dishwasher powder, a sponge and laundry detergent along with two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. Thankful we packed everythine would need for the kitchen. There was not even salt or pepper available. Be aware either pack essentials for the kitchen or the local Food Lion was approx 20 min away. The pool was surprisingly large and the hot tub was nice. Clean...There was an ice maker on the lower level which came in handy. The 3 decks were great and the furniture was sturdy and comfortable. It would have been nice to have that type of furniture around the pool instead of the plastic furniture. The walk to the beach was approx 5 minutes away. Climbing the path to the beach could be hard for people with physical issues. Overall, it was a wonderfuI week. I would definitely recommend this beach rental.

A waste of money

Numerous things not working. Called maintenance for 4 days to come fix it never got done. Food and stuff under couch. Main bedroom on top floor not dusted. All Shower curtains is mold and mildew and none of the bathroom sinks would drain. Since Vacasa took over it’s horrible. Loved outer beaches. Won’t rent from them again

House review

Our stay was pretty nice but to be honest it was a little disorganized, when we called to check in the house sooner, the cleaners said no one told them to get to the house sooner to clean and the cleaning was rushed, and also we did not get our tubs of clean towels or linens. The room on the top floor had mold on the inner liner shower curtain and the sliding glass door did not have a handle on the outside for most of our stay until someone came to fix it on Thursday. Some of the wood on the decks need some repair. And it would of been better if there was an extra fridge downstairs. But all in all we had a great time, the pool and hot tub was great to relax around and the crows nest was a great view spot.

Great house needs minor issues fixed

THE GOOD Beautiful spacious bedrooms Well stocked kitchen Clean and very fun pool and hot tub Rokus on every tv Short walk to the beach THE BAD Almost all the outdoor furniture has broken arms, holes in the seat or chipping rust. The gate to the pool is broken While getting plates from the cabinet the whole shelf fell sending dozens of plates and bowls to the floor and my daughter got hit. The shelf was missing a peg so it was bound to happen to someone. We encountered several cockroaches so had to take extra measures when we came home to ensure we weren't bringing them into our home. OVERALL I would recommend this house. We had a great week and had everything we needed and wanted. They need to fix some things and then it would be a perfect house.

Needs work

Both the home and Vacasa needs work. No deck chairs. Appliances were old and refrigerator broke during stay requiring is to throw out all groceries. Toilets were soiled with urine stains even though sanitizing strip was placed on the toilet. Management company is next to impossible to reach via phone. And through text they were not very helpful when the refrigerator broke beyond telling us that they will put the work order in but can't help us beyond that ... And would not provide us with a local number.
