«Checked into the hotel, it was far from full asked for a room close to the elevators as I had a lot of luggage, got the room the furthest from the elevator, the woman checking me in told me I was in one of the rooms close closest to the elevator. Got unpacked and ready to lay down, pulled back the sheets... the sheets had stains and hairs in it... it had just been remade, and nothing had been changed, trashbags were not put into the trash bins just placed on the counter next to the tv. «We truly appreciated everyone who works at Tru by Marriott in Fort Mill! Laura was a rockstar and helped us get checked in and settled. She was also so kind and friendly and talked with us like we were long lost friends. The hotel was great! Good breakfast options each day and fun game room to entertain our family while we waited for others. Very much appreciate everyone and everything!»

«The room was very spacious for sleeping up to 6, a great desk area and we loved the separate toilet and shower. Overall very convenient if you’re planning a trip to carowinds PLUS don’t forget to ask about a parking pass so you don’t have to pay for a parking spot at carowinds. Very clean and the staff was professional and helpful! Only thing I wasn’t impressed with was breakfast, while there were a good amount of options a lot of the hot food was overcooked or too sweet, I wish there were more ...

«The AC Ballantyne was more than expected. The facility is gorgeous with numerous of restaurants in walking distance. You don’t have to leave the hotel for anything! The staff was very friendly. We received a warm welcome. We were able to watch the GA vs Bama’ game in the bar area with other patrons and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend the hotel for your residing pleasure.»

«Excellent staff and facility. The only negative was paying for parking. In this area there was no need to charge for parking.»

«Our room was clean and our beds were comfortable. (Nice to have hot water immediately in the bathroom, too.) Being located near two busy roads, the noise level was a little louder than other places where we've stayed; but, our sound machine came in handy and muffled the outside traffic. The staff was delightful, very helpful, and supportive. Breakfast was good; similar to most other hotel buffets. We also appreciated the security feature using the elevator. We did help a couple of guests ...
