This hotel is not getting our business again.
The free breakfast was in no way free, it was a $12 credit against an overpriced meal. We used 4 of the free meals the second morning, (the first morning they were understaffed and we were in too much of a rush to wait),with each of us ordering the standard “all American breakfast” priced at $15. (Eggs, meat, potatoes, toast). Only two of us ordered beverages, one coffee, one milk. With tip our free breakfast cost us $40. To make matters worse, the food was so unappetizing, we left the majority uneaten. We paid less for better food the remaining mornings at the chocolate cafe nearby for the non free breakfast ($35). In addition, for a 4 night stay we never received housekeeping. We were informed at check in we would have cleaning after night 3, blaming being short staffed, but it never happened. Apparently you have to do an additional request for the service. Needless to say, 4 people family in town to ski, in a two queen room, one little soap and shampoo, 3 bath towels, garbage never being removed, etc. is ridiculous at this price, and not a property I would rate as premium. We ended up just dumping our overflowing garbage in the hallway and taking towels from the pool. I worked in the travel industry for over a decade, and this hotel is one of the most disappointing stays I’ve ever had. Avoid this property at all costs if staying more than one night, and skip the “free” breakfast-and most likely the char house altogether.
