«This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. "The room was spacious with large, comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had brought some fruit with us, and the staff kindly washed, cut, and even brought it to our room — a really thoughtful touch that we appreciated. When we booked the hotel, we didn’t know there was ongoing renovation work in the restaurant — it wasn’t a huge drawback, but the lighting in the evenings was a bit unpleasant. The hotel is also located very close to the viewpoint and the lake, which was a great bonus."
