To be honest - my stay was not as pleasant as I expected, especially given the reputation and pricing of the hotel.
I had requested a higher floor as when I woke up the next day ( I got to the hotel late at night) the first thing I saw was a dirty gray wall with bird poop all over it when I pulled the blinds, which took away from really seeing the view of the river. It was disappointed that no effort seemed to be made to accommodate this. I also asked about late checkout and was told it was not possible, which made the departure feel rushed.
Another issue was the minibar being completely full with items for purchase, leaving no space for personal food or drinks, which was a bit inconvenient.
On a positive note, the massage and facial at the spa was excellent and the therapists did a wonderful job.
However, overall the service experience and general atmosphere did not meet my expectations. On the website says it’s “ unapologetically luxurious” and I just did not get that experience at all.
