Convenient location
The house itself was good, with lots of stairs. The listing has been taken off so not sure if it will be available again. Location is convenient but not a big fan of the neighborhood. But was very close to all touristy things, approx 15 min drive. dedicated parking was a plus.

Check out the neighborhood first
The hosts are nice and the actual building and apartment are nice, clean, spacious and renovated. The neighborhood is a mixed bag; some renovated homes among some very run down and unclean spaces. The corner store has bars on it and we saw what appeared to be a drug deal happen in the corner while we were trying to figure out parking. The side street and around the back where we had to park were very sketchy. The parking was a big issue when we got there. The description of the property said that parking was included however it was not marked well and once we found it there were cars of other renters for the same building parked there. Owner was responsive in trying to get it taken care of however said it was a courtesy not included in the unit and we could park in the street for free. There was no available parking g in the street nor did we feel safe parking our car in the street or in an undesignated parking space especially since we rented this unit with parking in mind. Several hours after our arrival we were able to get the parking resolved with the help of the owner. We had some trouble with the electric lock to the building not locking. Also, learned by happenstance after our ability to cancel without penalty that the unit is no longer available for rental on VRBO something VRBO should have notified us about.

DC trip
Spacious condo that provided bedrooms and baths for grandparents, 12-year-old granddaughter and adult son/spouse. Spent most of the week in downtown area visiting museums. Great to return to comfortable condo and share meals and relax together. Appreciated responsive host providing answers to questions and making the stay particularly memorable.

Good but not Great
Enjoyed our stay here ... very nice interior and great communication with host as we had questions. There were a few minor annoyances that the host was helpful to resolve. Beds were okay but not great ... area of DC is a little run down but I never felt unsafe. Overall was satisfied with our stay.

Wonderful DC Visit
Had a great experience with my daughters and their friends while we visited the city The rooms were spacious and clean. The location is in a decent area with friendly neighbors. Definitely felt like a home away from home for us. Recommend to any family if you’re looking for a comfortable, quiet home, with modern appliances, and everything brand new. Very enjoyable space!

Pros and cons
Overall, the stay was acceptable. There are 3 large bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The property was clean, and the kitchen and bathroom finishes were nice. We were there for a graduation, so the location was very close to the University and very close to tourist attractions near the nation's capital. Be prepared to go up and down stairs whether you enter from the front or the back. Street parking in front was rare. There are 4 parking spaces in the rear of the unit which is shared with the other three guest condos. (two in front and two in back) So be prepared to negotiate with other guests the parking arrangements as you may need to leave out early in the morning and there is a potential to be blocked in. The Livingroom area though quaint is really small and that is the only place in the condo that has a T.V. Due to rain we had to watch one of the graduations by live stream and had to move the futon into the living room for us to sit comfortably. None of the bedrooms have a T.V. The rooms are large enough for at least a queen size bed or maybe a king, but all only had full size beds. There is a futon, twin roll away bed and two blow up mattresses. Both blow up mattresses used must have a slow leak because both deflated overnight. Also be prepared for the noise of the other tenants.

Great place to stay
We really enjoyed this place. It was clean and in a good location. Within walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores. Designated parking was also a plus. The host was very helpful with check in. We would stay here again. Only thing that we wished was for tv's in the bedrooms but we were out sightseeing so it didn't make that much of a difference.

Good option especially for family with kids
Spotless, appears to have been just redone. Manager very accommodating to a couple of requests. No real complaints - just some annoying issues that could be easily fixed: Listing not exactly correct as there are 3 full bathrooms & one 1/2...better than the listing! One bedroom lists Murphy bed - not. There is a roll out fold up bed in the closet. Property says up to 8 people but kitchen equipped with only 6 dinner plates; 4 small plates & 3 cereal bowls. With 4 adults & 4 children fixing and eating breakfast was a hassle. One ancient 12" frying pan (+2 six inch fry pans that were of no use); no mixing bowls -- one gets the idea. A much needed simple fix there would go a long way. Two bedrooms with glass doors open onto a stairwell with a skylight. A shade or curtain on each door would be very helpful as the light from this stairwell shines into each bedroom at night AND if one bedroom has a light on or tenant above accesses the stairwell to go to the roof - that shines into the other bedroom, waking occupants. Metro & Bus stops about .6 mile away.
