Nydelig godt plassert moderne 3BR unikt hjem

Jeg leier min nylig renoverte high end 3 soverom condominium i en utrolig plass bare en kort spasertur til Capitol og National Mall! Det ligger i en av DCs historiske nabolag omgitt av klassisk arkitektur og skritt fra trendige restauranter og barer og offentlig transport. Du vil elske området og nyte et rolig opphold mens du er i sentrum av alt DC har å tilby. Jeg vil prøve å imøtekomme deg det beste jeg kan under oppholdet ditt.

Great location

We came as a family to see the sights of the nations capitol. The location was perfect. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. Local transportation was easy and the property was clean and more than enough room for the 4 of us!

Perfect Stay

This property was ideal for our stay in DC as it is located less than a mile from Capital Mall. The neighborhood is beyond charming and is well suited for strolling and admiring the beautiful residential architecture. The apartment was clean with everything in working order. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and modern. Spacious living room. Lots of light from two walls of windows. To top this off, the owner, Daniel, is welcoming and gracious and really made our stay a complete, wonderful experience.

Great place to stay!

Really enjoyed our stay here, and Daniel was a great host! We were here for a bachelor party with 9 guys and between the bedrooms, living room with air mattresses, and the basement, there was plenty of room to go around. The place looked very modern, and all the appliances seemed to be fairly new and working great. The only thing I will say is I wish the fridge kept our drinks and food a little cooler then what it did. The area around the location was great! Full of people walking their dogs, biking, running, etc. There were some great coffee shops (shout out joseph's coffee shop and their incredible bfast sandwiches), and everywhere we wanted to go was around a 10-15 minute uber ride. You can also take advantage of the scooters all around the area, which we did and felt safe even at night. All in all, I would for sure book with Daniel again if I was ever in the DC area!

Ideal location for Capital visit

My wife and my two sons visited the East Coast for two weeks and stayed in this home for six days while we visited the institutions, museums, memorials and monuments around Washington D.C. This was a great location as we exclusively used public transportation and there is a bus stop just across the street from the premises that would take us to the Metro or wherever we wanted to go. The neighborhood was quiet, pleasant for walking, and within reasonable distance of some excellent restaurants on "H" street. The accommodations were comfortable, the shower in the bathroom has been nicely updated, and the air conditioning after our day trips provided a cool sanctuary in which to return. Our host was communicative and helpful throughout the trip which enabled to us feel relaxed throughout our stay. We certainly enjoyed our stay here.

Great location

Great location and property. We stayed here as two families together. Work great! All of the amenities were there and in great shape. The owner was great to work with. It took a little while to work out parking. That is the only downside, but hey it is DC. Great stay. Highly recommend!

Convenient and clean

Happy with two caveats

The property is spacious and well designed and looks as advertised, beds were comfortable, showers were great, but there were a few hiccups - while the property supposedly had been professionally cleaned, there was sticky stuff on the floor downstairs and spaces on the floors that had clearly not been vacuumed or swept, in that respect the space felt a bit fraternity house-ish. The owner did a great job designing the property as it is a converted store, but it looks worn in some areas as if other renters really didn't care about the place (wood torn off the vanity in the bathroom, marks on the walls) - cosmetic, not functional, but something that you can't see from the pictures. Not a deal breaker but it is unfortunate that perhaps other renters have not respected the beautiful work the owner did renovating the property. Also, the description doesn't talk about parking and reviews say parking is easy - which it is EXCEPT that in DC you are required to have an overnight parking pass. When we got to the property we inquired of the owner who was sort of evasive about whether we needed a pass or not (we spoke on the phone), so we contacted the parking department who told us to go to the PD to get a pass, we went to the PD who told us that we could only get a visitor pass if our owner got us the pass, then, we texted the owner explaining what we had been told and got no response until the last day of our stay (four days later). When we did hear, he had a long explanation for the difficulties in acquiring a parking pass and offered to cover any tickets we received, which was very kind of him, but it would have been helpful to have heard that information on day one when we were not sure what to do about not being able to get a pass. We did get lucky and did not get any tickets overnight, but I think that potential renters should be aware of this potential issue going into renting the place. Otherwise, the location is great - a mile from the capital and so we could walk into the city. None of the minuses were deal breakers, I would consider renting again provided the rental agreement stated up front that the owner would cover any parking tickets in lieu of facilitating getting a pass.

Prepping for a wedding

We needed a property that would fit a party and allow prep and photos for a wedding. This spot was perfect, quiet neighborhood, well appointed, great communication with the host. Easy to get to MD (where the wedding was). Very close to a Safeway (for groceries). The perfect way to prep for a perfect day

Excellent party space, and good place to stay

We chose this venue mainly as a bridal shower spot and it was a dream space for this. It was big, bright and open. You could tell it used to be a storefront. We had 16 people at the party, and there were enough chairs for each person (4 or 5 extra not pictured folding chairs in the closet). There are two rooms with queen sized beds upstairs, a queen sized bed downstairs and two futons. The couch upstairs might also be a pull out? Daniel communicated with us clearly on the day of and the day we were leaving on check in and check out procedure. He was friendly and gave clear instructions. It was obvious he was an experienced host. Ample TP, soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner provided. It would be difficult for me to provide any criticism, but if you were giving a party, I would suggest bringing extra dishes and hand towels. I recommend this rental without hesitation!!!!

A Christmas stay

For Christmas we had family coming in town for our daughters baby blessing and 1st birthday party so we needed something bigger than our townhouse to accommodate everyone. The location was perfect for us because our daughter was getting blessed down the street from our church and it was only a 5 min drive so that was perfect. Parking was pretty simple and the home is located in a safe and nice neighborhood. The home was pretty similar to the listing but of course the pictures made the space look a tad larger than it was but it was still a pretty good size. The home had pretty much the essentials but we were disappointed we had to go out to purchase a pot that was large enough to cook potatoes. There were a few pots but not many, there were utensils to cook with and plates, cups and bowls. The kitchen sink was a tad annoying because it was really loose and probably needs to be tighten or a new faucet but it did the job. We had to put our daughters pack n play up in the first bedroom and it fit pretty fine but it was always a tip toe event to get out the room not to wake her because the floors were extremely noisy when walking. The beds were ok not the most comfortable but did the job. The showers were stocked air the essentials , there was a blow dryer and towels. Overal we didn’t have a bad stay and the host was very nice and talked me through the check in process and was easily reachable. The host was also very accommodating and when asked if the home would be decorated for Christmas and If there was a tree he was accommodating. I love Christmas and was a little sad to see a small tree there but we placed the gifts around it as best as possible. Overall good stay.

GREAT PROPERTY!

This was such a great property for our family of four. My 13-year old son loved the basement area that he could call his own. We loved that we had the kitchen so we could eat breakfast in every morning before we started our daily adventures. We had easy access to public transportation - the D6 Bus or B2 bus both have stops one block away from the condo and will get you to either your destination or a metro station. We bought unlimited metro passes that we could use on the subway or the bus and it worked out great!!! There was a Safeway 1-mile away that we walked to and bought groceries; we felt like a local! The neighborhood was great, lots of people walking dogs, taking kids to school, etc. Thank you Daniel for a great stay!

Great spot!

The property was perfect for our group! My family of 4 slept comfortably in the basement while the other 4 adults took the 2 main floor bedrooms. Neighborhood is beautiful! Daniel was a great host and fixed the one small issue we had right away. Would stay again!
